About This Opportunity
Location: Landmark, Manitoba
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Salary: Starting wage from $19.00 per hour.
Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety? As a Wash Bay Attendant at Canada Packers, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our transportation equipment is clean, disinfected, and ready for safe use.
This is a physically active role where you’ll contribute directly to our biosecurity and operational goals while working in a supportive, safety-first environment. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities
Working closely with the team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of trucks and trailers. This includes a variety of physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, lifting (up to 25kg), and continuous walking. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Washing and disinfecting trucks and trailers
Scraping and cleaning trailer interiors Safely operating lift deck trailers Removing chase boards, shovels, and scrapers from trailers Washing the walls of the wash bay General cleanup of the building and yard Following all biosecurity procedures and company protocols
Skills & Experience
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application. Proof of eligibility may be requested during the recruitment process.
Grade 10 education or equivalent
Strong commitment to providing exemplary service and maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays Alignment with Canada Packers’ Leadership Values and Code of Conduct
