Responsibilities
- Moving and sorting of incoming appliances/electronics/furniture units for repair
- Organize and maintain the incoming area of furniture shop
- Organize and maintain the outgoing area of the A&E shop
- Wrapping/packaging and put away of repaired product
- Complete minor touch-ups on furniture
- Build ready to assemble products
- Coordinate recycling of appliances and electronics
- Perform cycle counts in A&E and furniture shop
- General cleanup, sweeping of floors and garbage removal as required
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, Material Handling, and equipment policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned periodically
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with experience working with small hand/power tools required
- Previous working experience in a warehouse
- Experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications and computerized warehouse management systems preferred
- Previous experience with Brick Retail, TGS and Western Catalyst (WMS) systems an asset
- Experience using RF guns an asset
- Experience using a motorized pallet jacks an asset
