Job Description :

  • Reports to the Student Affairs Office (SAO) 45 minutes before the exam scheduled start time.
  • Responsible for setting up the examination room according to specific requirements as well as ensuring that equipment and facilities are functioning properly.
  • Administers the delivery of the computerized exams and documentation.
  • Reports students’ problems to the SAO timely. Ensures that students comply with regulations with respect to exams.
  • Responsible to report to the SAO any behavior by students or others that does not comply with University regulations.
  • Ensures that all mobile and web-accessible electronic devices are stowed away from students prior to the start of the examination.
  • Ensures that students are accompanied to the washroom.
  • Alerts the SAO when students have a question.
  • At the end of the examination period, collects all exam materials and ensures nothing is left behind in the examination room(s).
  • Responsible for returning all exams material to the SAO.

Shifts: (AM: 8:45 am to 1:30 pm, PM: 1:45 pm to 6:30pm)

**Qualifications Required:**Comfortable with handling computerized exams. Must be student-focused and service oriented. Punctual. Demonstrated adequate communication and organizational skills, and an ability to transmit and receive information accurately. Demonstrated ability to listen and efficiently assist students with problems. Ability to follow instructions and to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to act in an acceptable manner so as not to disrupt students writing the exam. English, spoken and read. French an asset.

**Hours per week:**Variable depending on the needs of the Faculty (minimum 4 hour shift length)

  • S'assurer que tous les appareils électroniques mobiles et connectés à Internet sont rangés hors de portée des étudiants avant le début de l'examen.
  • Accompagner les étudiants aux toilettes.
  • Prévient le SAO lorsque les étudiants ont une question.
  • À la fin de la période d'examen, récupère tout le matériel d'examen et s'assure que rien n'a été laissé dans la ou les salles d'examen.
  • Est chargé de restituer tout le matériel d'examen au SAO.

**Qualifications requises :**A l'aise avec la gestion d'examens informatisés. Doit être axé sur les étudiants et orienté vers le service. Ponctuel. Doit faire preuve de bonnes compétences en communication et en organisation, ainsi que d’une capacité à transmettre et à recevoir des informations avec précision. Doit faire preuve d’une capacité à écouter et à aider efficacement les étudiants en cas de problèmes. Doit être capable de suivre des instructions et de travailler de manière autonome et en équipe. Doit être capable d’adopter un comportement approprié afin de ne pas perturber les étudiants pendant l’examen. Maîtrise de l’anglais parlé et lu. La maîtrise du français est un atout.

**Heures par semaine :**variables en fonction des besoins de la faculté (durée minimale d’un quart de travail de 4 heures)
