What You'll Do
- Contribute to production software by designing, implementing, and maintaining features across different parts of the system.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code that supports real-world applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions, learning from feedback and collaboration.
- Explore how systems behave at scale and how engineering decisions impact reliability and performance.
What We're Looking For
- Computer Science degree or equivalent academic background with a strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development practices like debugging, testing, and version control.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or JavaScript, and exposure to modern frontend frameworks like React.
- Ability to communicate clearly, explain your ideas, and ask thoughtful questions.
- Curiosity about how systems work and a genuine interest in learning and growing as an engineer.
Nice-to-Have
- Personal or school projects where you built something end-to-end or experimented beyond coursework.
- Comfort reading and understanding existing code in complex systems.
- Interest in how systems interact, scale, and recover, and curiosity about emerging technologies like AI.

The base pay range for this role is $78,000 - $107,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
