The Opportunity RVS invites applications for a continuing, part-time (25 hrs/wk) School Receptionist position starting immediately at Northcott Prairie School.

Responsibilities Include
- Provides excellent service to school staff, students and the public, including answering and
directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Greets substitute teachers and substitute support staff and provides necessary resources
- Prepares, distributes, collects, and categorizes various school forms
- Accepts, distributes and expedites mail, couriered, and delivered items
- Completes a variety of clerical duties in a fast-paced work environment by assigned
deadlines
- Supervises students in the infirmary
- Supports student attendance as required
- Supports the professionalism and confidentiality of the school office
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Administrative Professional Diploma or Certificate is considered an asset
- Previous experience within a school division and/or with Student Information Records Systems is considered an asset
Knowledge And Skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to establish collaborative working relationships with internal and external
clients
- Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of complex and sensitive issues professionally
and in a timely manner
- Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal
supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
