Full Time, Permanent Role $70,000 - $80,000 / Annually (DOE) + Benefits
AMK Global is hiring an experienced Head Chef with a strong background in premium or fine dining restaurants, skilled in premium steak preparation, refined sushi, seafood, and Asian-inspired cuisine within a fast-paced open-kitchen environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead all back-of-house operations in a fast-paced fine dining kitchen. Deliver exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation with every dish. Prepare and oversee premium steaks, seafood, sushi, and raw bar offerings. Create seasonal features and menu specials using premium ingredients. Lead kitchen service and maintain the highest culinary standards. Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and labor. Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing kitchen team. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organization.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 7+ years of Head Chef experience in a fine dining or premium restaurant. Strong expertise in premium steak programs, butchery, seafood, and luxury ingredients. Experience with sushi, sashimi, Japanese cuisine, or a raw bar is highly preferred Exceptional plating skills and attention to detail. Strong food cost, inventory, and kitchen management skills. Passion for quality, presentation, and consistency. Culinary diploma or equivalent experience. Red Seal is an asset.
