About the role

The Manager, Commercial Operations – eCommerce Packaging is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational execution of the eCommerce packaging business. This includes leadership over estimating, structural design coordination, sourcing, production scheduling, and customer service functions. This is a highly hands-on leadership role that sits at the intersection of sales and manufacturing, ensuring customer requirements are delivered efficiently, accurately, and profitably. The role plays a critical part in enabling sales growth, improving operational discipline, and enhancing the overall customer experience. Working closely with the VP & GM, this individual will help drive performance, scalability, and process optimization across the business.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Lead Commercial Operations Lead and develop teams across estimating, customer service, sourcing, and production scheduling Drive operational excellence across the full order lifecycle (quote to delivery) Own Estimating & Pricing Oversee quoting activities, including complex estimates and feasibility reviews Ensure accuracy of costing (materials, production assumptions, etc.) Support pricing strategy and margin optimization Guide Structural Design Review packaging concepts to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness Manage design workflow and timelines Manage Sourcing & Vendors Act as an expert in packaging materials (paperboard, alternatives, etc.) Negotiate pricing and manage supplier relationships Oversee Production Planning Balance capacity, demand, and operational constraints through effective scheduling Resolve complex production and capacity challenges
