The Self-Awareness Recreation and Entertainment (SHARE) Coordinator will, under the general direction of the Clinical Manager, drawing on their own skills and experience, provide advocacy and support services to a person living with mental health problems and will participate in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and services for individuals, families and the community.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Personal experience as a Mental Health Programs consumer
- Knowledge of local community resources in order to facilitate access to social, recreational, clinical and transportation services
- Valid G Driver’s Licence (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation and relevant sections of legislation (i.e. Mental Health Act, Human Rights Code, Landlord and Tenant Act, etc.) an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Experience in planning and facilitating groups
- Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
- Bilingualism preferred (French/English)
