A.Duties & Responsibilities

The machine/assembly operator reports to the shift supervisor. He/she is expected to operate a moulding machine, assembly machine or perform manual assembly duties in the most productive and efficient manner with due regard to safety.

The operator is accountable for the quality of the products produced at the work station.

The operator must be present at the work station five minutes before the shift begins to assure a smooth transition.

The operator is responsible for communicating with the incoming or outgoing shift to assure a smooth transition during shift change.

The operator is responsible for reading and understanding the operator instructions at the workstation.

Ensure that the workstation is clean at all times.
B.Minimum Qualifications

Ability to take instruction
C.Required Skills
-
Understanding of Kanban/labelling requirements.
-
Ability to detect basic moulding defects such as sink, flash, etc.
-
No colour vision deficiency.

Excellent motor skills and dexterity.

Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function
