Manager, D365 Optimization & Localization Lead
This exciting Manager, D365 Optimization & Localization Lead opportunity will oversee global ERP rollout and statutory localization while maintaining the enterprise Financial Data Model (FDM) and country compliance. The role enables multi-country deployments, supports new hotel openings, and addresses regulatory compliance (IFRS, GDPR, tax) including localization debt remediation. The successful candidate will act as the global compliance guardian for ERP finance systems and drive continuous improvement and localization backlog remediation.
Key Activities:
- Maintain the statutory requirements register per country and ensure timely updates.
- Configure Electronic Reporting (ER) formats and external tax engines for compliance.
- Lead country rollouts and manage vendor oversight for localization deliverables.
- Govern FDM and compliance controls across regions and ensure audit readiness.
- Support readiness for new market entry and hotel openings including localization testing.
- Coordinate with Microsoft for feature rollouts, hotfixes, and localization support.
- Manage localization backlog and prioritization based on business impact.
- Lead statutory audits for ERP compliance and ensure documentation traceability.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Engages Legal/Tax, Corporate Finance, regional controllers, and local vendors; updates governance boards.
What You Bring/Key Skills:
- Proven 3–5 years of global experience managing localization projects across 25+ countries, with a strong focus on EMEA and APAC regions.
- Expertise with D365 localization framework and ER configurations.
- Experience with external tax engines (Vertex/Avalara) and e-invoicing networks.
- Azure-based integration awareness and ERP architecture understanding.
- 10+ years ERP experience with global rollouts and statutory localization.
- Strong vendor management and finance analytics background.
- Expertise in electronic invoicing mandates across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with tax engines and global indirect tax compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Microsoft Certification in D365 Finance & Operations (mandatory).
- FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) or similar finance analytics certification preferred.
