As Senior Account Manager, a typical day might include: Customer Service and Account Executive Support Collaborating and regularly meeting with Account Executive(s) and the team to stay abreast of client account status Proactively obtaining underwriting information from potential and renewal clients Creating and sending submissions to underwriters (where re-marketing is required)when applicable Liaising with clients on the status of requests for coverage or renewal Presenting quotes and/or renewals to clients, obtaining orders and binding coverage with underwriters Maintaining a technical and service-oriented relationship with the clients and underwriters Providing friendly, professional service to customers and Account Executives Handling routine customer and Account Executive inquiries/concerns in a timely manner and to an agreed upon Practice Group standard Proactively identifying coverage gaps and makes insurance and risk management recommendations Providing administrativesupportas required including,but not limited to,invoicing,CoverNotes, finance contracts, claims support,AccountsReceivable, etc. Ensuring all documents are accurate and accounts are kept in an orderly manner New Business Placement (where applicable) Assists Account Executive(s) in the placement of new business opportunities. This involves, but is not limited to: Initiating communication with the prospect and Axis team members as required afterthe Account Executive(s) has madeinitial contact Developing an understanding of theprospect’srisk profile and industry Identifying necessary lines of coverage Determining best insurers to place coverage, liaising with insurers (national & overseas) and collaborating with internal broking/Account Management staff for further market intel Updating the Market Sheet used by the team for new business risk placements for future use and reference Developing a working relationship with the prospect/insured Working with a Junior Account Manager(s)to facilitate administration and knowledge support Preparing and presenting client proposals-or forwarding to Account Executive(s) to review and present

Working behind the scenes to ensure an exceptional customer experience … YOU know that the customer expects excellence … and so do you!
Must haves: Minimum 5 years Commercial insurance experience, consistently meeting internal core competencies General Insurance Agent Level 2 in the individual’s province of residence, with the ability to obtain a British Columbia license. Level 1 is sufficient for RIBO. CAIB, CIP, CRM or other insurance designations considered an asset Post Secondary Degree considered an asset Experience using EPIC broker management system an asset
