#About the Role

The Student Housing Assistant (SHA) plays a vital role in both guest and student housing operations, reporting to the Front Office Coordinator. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to casual guests, prospective students, and their families while contributing to a positive residence experience.

##Responsibilities

  • Provide professional customer service to guests, residents, and prospective students

  • Manage guest check-in/check-out processes

  • Handle front desk tasks, including booking reservations (phone, email, in-person) and preparing check-in packages

  • Process payments accurately (cash, debit, credit)

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Observe and enforce residence community standards as outlined in the Residence Community Standards Guide

  • Assist with special projects (marketing, website updates, publications, event planning, social media etc.)

##Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-6 months of relevant experience
  • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program preferred

Salary:$15.00 - $18.87 per hour
