THE SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL….
Play a key role in leading the Sales Operations team to streamline wholesale order management and ensure our customers receive on-time, in-full service. You’ll partner cross-functionally to resolve challenges, improve SIFOT performance, and champion continuous improvement that drives efficiency and customer satisfaction. By turning data into actionable strategies, you’ll optimize forecasts, solve inventory gaps, and build systems that enable sustainable growth while delivering exceptional service to our sales partners and internal teams.
This is a hands-on position which will require the application of strategic thinking and the execution of day-to-day operations. We work in a fast-paced environment, rolling up our sleeves to build something bigger than ourselves. You must be comfortable working within a small and dynamic team, be able to communicate effectively, juggle multiple priorities, proactively solve problems, identify, and communicate risks, and deliver against deadlines. More importantly, you need to be able to integrate fun as a way of being and working, aka don’t take yourself too seriously.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales Operations team, fostering high performance, engagement, and collaboration
- Manage the wholesale orderbook, proactively resolving issues to improve customer SIFOT performance across North American and International accounts for big box retailers, specialty accounts, and distributors
- Monitor inventory across purchased, in-transit, and on-hand supply to address gaps and recommend air freight when needed to mitigate customer order impact
- Partner with Planning on wholesale forecast and bulk management, and pre-season and end-of-season analysis
- Review proposed and existing vendor agreements to ensure operational readiness for onboarding new customers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.
- Define, track, and report KPIs and SLAs for service levels, fill rates, and processing timelines.
- Represent Sales Operations in cross-functional meetings, communicating risks, priorities, and recommendations clearly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, buyers, reps, and sales teams to support growth and a positive customer experience
- Ensure timely and accurate allocation of core, replenishment, and fashion orders to meet revenue targets.
- Manage seasonal key account forecasts in partnership with Planning, addressing significant shifts in demand
- Provide guidance on EDI, order entry, pricing, and troubleshooting order-related issues with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with preparation of analytical reports and historical re-caps to communicate business performance
- Cultivate strong partnerships focused on innovation, service excellence, and continuous improvement
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture within the team
- Other duties may arise from time to time and as a team, we look to support each other
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or sales support, including 1–2 years leading a team
- Background in B2B operations; experience with EDI, Elastic Suite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
- Familiarity with retail omni-channel environments and large retail accounts is an asset
- Proven ability to build relationships, source information, and influence cross-functional teams and external partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; adept at using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated success in process optimization, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments; able to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences with a focus on service excellence
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
