What is the opportunity?
The Tax Client Services, Senior Administrator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the client tax reporting team. This includes the production of client tax packs, preparation and submission of regulatory tax reporting. The Senior administrator will ensure the business meets its regulatory obligations and client service standards in all aspects of the role.
What will you do?

Monitor the team inbox, assisting the team with reviewing and prioritising queries arising from client-facing professionals.

Maintain a department log of ongoing queries & issues, providing updates in team meetings.

Assist with preparation of materials for internal meetings (team, stakeholder, training) and taking minutes where required.

Assist the team with reviews of team and wider business procedures, to ensure they remain in line with RBC policy and tax authority requirements.

Support with key activities, to ensure the production of tax packs for clients in line with service level agreements.

Setup of clients in systems.

Liaise with business teams, to obtain historical transactional data.

Work closely with our external service provider on production of tax packs and quality assurance review.

Maintain and update internal process workflows.

Communicate with client-facing professionals around the status of production of their client packs.

Help to monitor and track our service delivery, to ensure we continue to meet client expectations and standards of service.

Support process for production of interest certificates as required.

Support with risk management in relation to incorrect reporting or late reporting to tax authorities.

Pre-reporting control checks for any data integrity issues, liaising with business or IT teams to track/address issues.

Prepare reporting files, for review by team members.

Support the upload process and conversion of the raw data files into a tax authority file format.

Validation testing in tax authority portals and final submission.

Other ad hoc projects and initiatives – e.g. user testing, process improvements, control testing, audit reviews, remediation projects etc.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Good interpersonal skills, preferably with client service experience.
- Competent user of Excel and knowledge of basic commands.
- Experience working with IT and Operations teams.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and organisation.
- A continuous improvement mindset with team and business.
- Collaborative working style with team members and our stakeholders
- Calmness under pressure of deadlines, without impacting accuracy of work
- Motivation to learn and develop themselves and others around them.
