The Candidate and Responsibilities
The position is based out of Vancouver and supports the Investor Relations team. This position reports directly to the Investor Relations Specialist.
Applicants for this position will be self-motivated individuals with a high degree of initiative and will possess strong interpersonal skills, be attentive to detail, possess critical thinking and analytical skills, and able to build trusting relationships.
This role is responsible for the following:
Investor Relations Support
- Responsible for leading the research and evaluation of prospective investors and partners.
- Support the research of conferences and events for internal members to attend, including opportunities for speaking engagements.
- Assisting with updating and maintaining the comprehensive and confidential investor database.
- Maintain well-organized filing system that permits easy reference and rapid retrieval of information.
- Responsible for maintaining support process documents and updating current processes.
- Compose or proofread messaging where applicable, will include emails, notices, updates etc.
- Responsible for assisting with the preparation of investor meetings, including but not limited to, preparing briefing notes, setting up meeting rooms and equipment, procuring snacks, beverages etc.
- Provide support for fundraising initiatives as needed.
- Other duties may be required.

Competencies, Qualifications and Requirements
- Undergraduate degree underway to complete, and interest and/or experience in investor relations, communications and/or business administration.
- Skilled in conducting structured research and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights.
- High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding and experience using AI tools is an asset.
- Salesforce experience is an asset.
Skills and Attributes
- Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information.
- Superior time management and multitasking skills with a strong sense of urgency under minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in an individual setting.
- Detail-oriented, strategic, and highly organized with a strong focus on planning and execution.
- Self-motivated and possesses a high level of professionalism.
- An excellent command of English grammar.

Our Compensation & Benefits Philosophy
The typical hiring range for this position is $27 per hour. The actual offered rate may vary and will depend on individual experience, qualifications, and market condidtions for the role. We are also pleased to offer the following benefits:
