We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Support Manager, to provide leadership and oversight to the HPL project bidding team.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all project estimates, quotes, and submissions align with client expectations and internal business requirements while supporting HPL’s operational and financial objectives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven industry experience in transmission and distribution, civil and/or industrial construction (required).
- Working knowledge and understanding of estimating practices, project management processes, and construction operations (required).
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to guide teams and influence goal-oriented outcomes (required).
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data and provide practical, working solutions (required).
- Strong financial and business acumen (required).
- Time management proficiency as well as organization and attention to detail to meet time-sensitive deadlines (required).
- Effective communicator, both verbally and written, as well as organizational and stakeholder management skills (required).
- Microsoft Office (Visio, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 proficiency (required).
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver abstract (required).
- A Diploma, certificate, or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering Technology (preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, or actively working towards this designation (an asset).
