Here, Chef Malcolm Campbell, who developed a passion for haute cuisine and refined techniques in Michelin-starred settings, leads a team dedicated to showcasing the region’s most exceptional natural ingredients, curating an authentic expression of time and place.
Mystic is currently seeking a Guest Services Manager to be the driving force behind creating an unforgettable dining experience. From welcoming service to seamless operations, you will lead with passion and precision, ensuring every detail reflects the sophistication and quality of fine dining. You’ll oversee daily service operations, inspire the FOH team, and ensure every guest feels genuinely welcomed. This role requires strong organizational skills, a natural eye for detail, and the ability to balance scheduling, administrative duties, and team leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- communicating the restaurant’s vision and values, leading by example;
- inspiring and mentoring the FOH team through coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations;
- interacting with guests, address inquiries, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally;
- overseeing FOH performance, ensuring compliance with service standards and polished guest experiences;
- educating staff on the wine list, menu changes, and refined service techniques;
- managing scheduling, staffing, payroll submissions, and other administrative tasks;
- collaborating with events and culinary teams to deliver seamless private dining experiences;
- supporting inventory management and ordering to maintain smooth operations;
- ensuring compliance with the Liquor Control Act and all other regulatory requirements;
- other similar duties as assigned from time to time.
The Person We Are Looking For Has:
- proven leadership experience in fine dining (10+ years hospitality leadership preferred);
- strong interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, professional presence under pressure;
- solid knowledge of wine, cocktails, and fine dining etiquette;
- strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling and payroll/timesheets approval;
- a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences;
- the ability to motivate, coach, and support a high-performing team.
