First Student is now hiring a 310T Licensed Mechanic to join our shop in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our maintenance team, you’ll help ensure the safety and reliability of our iconic yellow school buses—making a real difference in your community every day. Why Join First Student? We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment, including: $44.96/hour based on experience and qualifications (not flat-rate) $0.25/hour ASE bonus for each relevant certification (we cover training materials and exam fees) Monday to Friday schedule – no weekends Annual boot, tool and prescription safety glasses allowance Health benefits, paid vacation, and paid holidays RRSP with company match Ongoing training and development through state-of-the-art programs Employee discounts on cell phone plans, vehicles, and more through Perk Spot What You’ll Do As a First Student Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for: Performing routine maintenance and repairs on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues Completing work orders and documentation Assisting with mobile emergency repairs as needed What We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Hold a valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license Have experience with diesel and automotive, electric. Own a complete set of mechanic’s tools Are safety-focused and eager to grow your skills through ASE testing Get your career on the road with First Student in Toronto!
