Temporary Full-Time Seasonal Opportunities Available Do you enjoy working outdoors and making a difference in your community? The City of Delta’s Parks Operations team is seeking reliable, self-motivated, and flexible individuals to help care for our parks, sports fields, and community facilities across Ladner, North Delta, and Tsawwassen.

These positions involve the day‑to‑day care, maintenance, and operation of parks, recreational areas, sports fields, and community facilities. Duties include groundskeeping, custodial work, litter control, and supporting park users with picnic and special event setup and takedown. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential, along with physical fitness and the capacity to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong customer service skills are also important, as the role involves interacting with the public and external agencies in a professional and diplomatic manner.

Qualifications Applicants must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence with a safe driving record. A current five-year Driver’s Record must be uploaded with your application. Previous custodial, park maintenance, or groundskeeping experience is an asset. Candidates are required for a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Temporary full-time employees become eligible for extended health, dental, and life insurance coverage after six months of continuous employment.
