The Opportunity

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Fredericton is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • The Operations Manager assumes responsibility of Parts and Service employees, monitoring performance.
  • Maintain Dealership Standards against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary to correct.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and efficiencies in all departments.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns
  • Analyze reports (e.g., inventory, sales, and daily reports) to determine the operational activities of the company and ensure optimum performance
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Previous experience in managing staff is an asset.
  • Must be computer literate - be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and be able to learn a new computer program.
  • Must be willing to learn how to drive a forklift.
  • Experience in the truck industry, rental, or automotive industry is an asset.
  • Has great attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and troubleshooting skills.
  • A good team player has a sense of urgency and can multitask.
  • Good work ethic and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting.
