Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions

EIPS is recruiting a full-time Division 2 Teacher at Heritage Hills Elementary. This assignment will teach Grade 6 English.
Heritage Hills Elementary serves approximately 525 students in
kindergarten the Grade 6, with 24 teaching staff and 10 support
staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB and as a dual-track
school offers programming in English and French Immersion. The school strives
to help every child be a successful, self-motivated learner in a safe and
caring school environment. The goal is to empower students to be lifelong
learners in a changing world.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
- Effective organization and classroom management skills
- Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged

- Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
