About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, and on-premises infrastructure. This role involves ensuring security, reliability, automation, and scalability across a wide range of technologies, with a strong focus on innovation and operational excellence. This position will also act as a backup buddy for other senior team members, ensuring continuity and reliable IT operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Own, manage and support Microsoft 365 services including but not limited to SharePoint Online, Exchange, Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Manage and administer Active Directory and domain services, including group policies, identity management, and DNS/DHCP.
  • Configure, Manage Windows and Linux servers in both physical and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V), SAN storage, UPS and high availability systems.
  • Automate IT tasks and processes using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and other relevant tools.
  • Develop scripts and automation workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Manage backup and recovery solutions, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements and SLAs.
  • Own and manage, employee accounts provisioning automations, Microsoft Intune, and asset inventory systems.
  • Implement system updates, apply patches, and enforce security best practices across servers, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot security solutions such as Firewalls, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Email security system.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Participate in escalated end-user support tickets requiring advanced troubleshooting.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve clear system documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate on departmental projects and cross-functional IT initiatives.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science or any relevant or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
  • Strong knowledge of AD structure, group policies, OU management, federation, DNS/DHCP, and authentication protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (users, licenses, compliance, security), SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Dynamics 365 for Sales integration and support.
  • Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Servers, Linux administration (multiple distributions) and Ansible.
  • Proficiency in VMware virtualization environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
  • Understanding of backup solutions and disaster recovery practices.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in IT administration (automation, predictive analytics, anomaly detection).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in server room management including cooling, electrical power distribution, UPS management, etc.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls, EDR, SIEM, and email security platforms.
  • Strong understanding of patch management, endpoint hardening, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Atlassian Service Desk and change/incident management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments and learn new technologies quickly.
