You’ll be part of a team focused on strengthening FCC’s data capabilities and will collaborate with technology partners, product teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, well-supported technical solutions. We’re looking for a hands-on technical data developer who enjoys building practical, reliable solutions in a cloud-based data environment – someone who’s curious, collaborative and comfortable working with data tools, cloud services and development practices that help teams turn information into usable insights. And someone who brings strong problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to translate technical requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solutions. What you’ll do Design, develop, test and maintain data-focused applications, integrations and reporting solutions in an AWS environment Translate technical and business requirements into reliable, scalable and maintainable solutions Work with data tools and visualization platforms, including AWS QuickSight or similar tools, to support reporting and insight delivery Troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing solutions with a focus on performance, quality, security and usability Collaborate with developers, analysts, product partners and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs Contribute to code reviews, testing, documentation and continuous improvement practices within the team What you’ll bring to the team Required qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or a related field At least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Hands-on experience developing, testing and supporting technical data solutions Experience working in an AWS data environment, including practical knowledge of cloud-based data services and development practices Experience with data tools, reporting or visualization platforms such as AWS QuickSight or similar technologies Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot technical issues and deliver solutions that are secure, reliable and supportable Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners Preferred qualifications: Experience working in an Agile delivery environment Experience with data quality, data pipelines, APIs, automation or cloud-native development practices Knowledge of software engineering practices such as version control, CI/CD, peer review and technical documentation An interest in emerging technologies, continuous learning and improving how data solutions are built and supported Not sure you meet every requirement?
