As the Retail & Experience Manager, you’ll lead the guest experience, retail operations, and revenue-driving initiatives at Thirty Bench Winery—an intimate, close-knit environment known for exceptional wines, loyal guests, and a warm team culture.

What The Teammate Will Be Responsible For - In this leadership role, you will develop and execute best-in-class retail, tour, and guest experience strategies that elevate the Thirty Bench brand and deliver strong financial performance. You will:

  • Lead daily retail, tasting room, and experience operations to ensure high-quality, memorable guest experiences.
  • Develop and execute revenue-driving initiatives, including Wine Club growth and premium experiences.
  • Manage budgets, gross margin, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and financial controls including inventory and bank reconciliation.
  • Oversee all guest experience programming; continuously refine offerings to maximize yield and guest satisfaction.
  • Host VIPs, internal stakeholders, media, and influencers—representing the Thirty Bench brand with professionalism and warmth.
  • Provide strong people leadership—coaching, motivating, and supporting a talented team within a collaborative, family-like environment.

What the experiences, skills and knowledge the teammate will bring - You’re a Leader Who Thrives In Boutique Hospitality Settings And Understands What It Takes To Inspire Teams And Create Unforgettable Guest Moments. You Bring

  • 2–5 years of retail leadership experience, ideally in hospitality, tourism, or luxury retail.
  • Wine knowledge and enthusiasm—WSET or similar certification preferred; ability to lead educational and training programs and inspire hourly teammates.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
  • Strong tech skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Proven leadership strengths: coaching, communication, listening, team building, supervision, organization, and project management.

  • Reporting to the Regional Manager, Retail & DTC
