About the role
About the Company
A fast-moving, AI-native technology organization building a new browser product, operating at the intersection of product and engineering with a strong bias toward speed, clarity, and execution.
About the Role
We're building the next generation of AI-driven browser experiences, integrating LLMs to provide smarter, faster, and more personal access to information across iOS, Android, MacOS, and Windows. What you do here will have a huge impact on our business and customers.
We're looking for a Product Manager to co-own feature delivery with engineering and design. This is not a slow-ramp role. You'll need to quickly understand new concepts, break down complexity into parallelizable work, and keep multiple platform teams moving without friction.
About You
You like building things. When you get ownership of a problem, you dig in and work with engineers to get it shipped. You're curious before you're opinionated, taking time to learn how systems work and what language the team already uses before proposing changes.
Ambiguity doesn't throw you, but you don't leave it that way either. You bring structure through clear specs, closed loops, and predictable delivery. You use AI to move faster: Claude, Cursor, Figma integrations, and whatever else gets the job done. And you care about craft. You write specs that engineers can build from, and you notice when the product feels off.
Responsibilities
- Drive features end-to-end within your pod: write specs, create tickets, unblock engineers, and hold the line on scope and timelines
- Break down abstract product concepts into small, clear tasks that engineers can execute without friction
- Prioritize and sequence work across platforms, often making tradeoffs with incomplete information
- Use the product daily, find the gaps, file the bugs, and advocate for the user experience
- Maintain operational visibility: track delivery, surface blockers early, and keep the team aligned on what's shipping when
- Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
Additional Engagement Details
- Overlap with US hours
- Long term engagement
Requirements
Must-have:
- Strong product execution experience working closely with engineers
- Proven ability to decompose complex ideas into actionable work quickly
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while maintaining momentum
- AI-native workflow (you already use LLMs to think, write, and debug)
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with browser products or browser-adjacent features (tabs, navigation, extensions)
- Programming background. We love a failed engineer or founder
- Mobile product experience (iOS and/or Android)
- Experience with cross-platform development and sequenced rollouts
About Walter
Walter enables modern, collaborative relationships between law firms and their clients. Our software platform dramatically and immediately reduces the unbillable, frustrating tasks across law firms so legal teams can focus on higher-value billable work. But it’s also transformative for their clients. They get on-demand digital access to their data so they can collaborate with their law firm on everything from executing private financings to managing their cap tables – and beyond. In a time when software companies are inserting themselves between law firms and their clients, and AI threatens to disrupt everything, Walter is the modern software platform law firms need to grow.
