About The Community
Berens River School is a Nursery to Grade 9 School with approximately 400 students. Berens River is a community of approximately 3,546 located on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg, a 4-hour drive north of Winnipeg. This lakeside town offers community services such as a general store, Northern store and a community hall. The beautiful surrounding area is a recreational paradise offering a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking and canoeing.

What You Bring
Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) A sound knowledge of provincial curricula Previous teaching experience A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology Strong classroom management skills Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset) Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
