SAP ERP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) Functional Lead
Level: Mid/Senior Consultant Start Date: July 6,2026 Duration: Jan. 29,2027 Hours: Full-time 40/hrs /week Location: Remote - Toronto/GTA Travel - N/A Languages: English Rate: $100-160/hr
The VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) Functional Lead on SAP Plus is accountable for the end‑to‑end design, configuration, and delivery of the OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solution within the S/4HANA Accounts Payable landscape. Lead the definition of future-state invoice processing processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise AP approval workflows, tax integration requirements (e.g., Vertex), and upstream/downstream systems such as OpenInvoice and Ariba. Responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, fit-to-standard VIM solutions, guiding design decisions, and ensuring the new VIM environment supports a sustainable, independently maintainable architecture as part of the Core Release. Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Integration, and Technical teams to ensure seamless data flow, workflow orchestration, and compliance with program standards. Provide functional oversight across design, build, test, and deployment phases, governs system integrator deliverables, and proactively identifies and mitigates risks related to invoice processing, automation, and exception handling. Supports data migration, cutover, and decommissioning of the legacy VIM instance, while driving adoption of standardized processes and ensuring alignment with SAP Plus program governance and quality expectations.
