Job Description
Join a world-class team in an iconic luxury setting as a Restaurant Manager. In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of a high-end dining experience, ensuring flawless service, exceptional guest satisfaction, and polished team performance.
Reporting to the General Manager, Vermillion Room you will lead with vision and passion—mentoring a talented team, driving innovation, and upholding the highest standards of excellence.

Competitive Salary: $65,000-$67,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education
Job Duties Include
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Oversee recruitment, mentorship, and development of department leaders and colleagues, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment. Maintain a strong presence on the floor to ensure professional, engaging service while addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively. Manage daily operations including reservations, service flow, cleanliness, and maintenance, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience. Support financial goals through budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, payroll accuracy, and beverage program oversight. Collaborate on menu development, analyze performance trends, and liaise with Conference Services and Catering for group and event coordination.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications
Minimum two years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management. Upscale and luxury experience in a 4-5 star properties is preferred.
Proven record of upholding LQA and Forbes Standards is preferred
Strong beverage and culinary knowledge required. Must be “Proserve” certified. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs.
Post secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset
Knowledge of Silverware, Birchstreet, Watson; all regarded as helpful assets Must have a strong, proven leadership qualities and management skills including effective staff scheduling Creative, effective leader and team player, possessing a high degree of professionalism, sound human resources management principles, communication, administrative skills, ambition, drive, energy, and determination Proven track record of strong financial and cost control knowledge and applications are required Results oriented with the ability to be flexible, work well under pressure and be accountable to make sound thoughtful business decisions Highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at one time Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities
