About the role
A career as a Paralegal in the Governance and Legal Affairs team at National Bank means acting as a key contributor in supporting subsidiary governance activities. This role allows you to make a tangible impact through your experience in document management, regulatory follow-up, and operational coordination. Your role Coordinate corporate meetings, including preparation of materials and follow-up actions Draft, review, and manage legal, corporate, and regulatory documentation File documents with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance requirements are met Maintain and update corporate records and related databases Support administrative operations, including document management, billing, and file tracking Monitor evolving legal and regulatory requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the legal department Your teamWithin the Governance and Legal Affairs sector, you will be part of a dedicated team and report to the Senior Director, Subsidiary Governance. Prerequisites College diploma in legal techniques or equivalent education, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience in legal and corporate document management Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment with multiple competing priorities
