Position: Yearbook Sales Representative
Reports to: Senior Manager, Corporate Field Operations or designate
Overview:
Nothing captures the energy and culture of a school like a yearbook filled with photographs and student achievements. Each year we help schools capture these lasting memories by assisting with the production and marketing of their yearbook. You’ll thrive in this role ifyou are an aspiring Sales and Service professional who recognizes opportunities and can turn leads into long lasting partnerships. You will play a key role in driving the Edge brand and growing our yearbook channel by working collaboratively with our existing internal yearbook service team to provide outstanding customer service, yearbook inspiration & marketing support for in school yearbook sales.
What You Will Focus On:
Customer Accountability & Relationship Management
- Represent the Edge brand by maintaining accountability to customers and fostering strong relationships.
- Manage a book of business, including daycares, schools (elementary through universities), sports teams, and other community organizations.
- Promote and win new yearbook products
- Upsell, service, and renew yearbook programs within a designated territory.
- Conduct regular outreach to schools via email and phone to promote yearbook products.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the internal Yearbook team to ensure the best customer experience and meet corporate goals.
- Collaborate effectively with school administrators, yearbook advisers, teachers, students, and parents.
- Communicate Edge Yearbook’s value proposition, aligning it with customers’ current and future needs.
- Provide updates to the Yearbook Manager, including any concerns or risks that might delay submissions.
Sales & Product Strategy
- Conduct online sales presentations for renewals and prospective customers.
- Assess competitor strengths and weaknesses to help inform sales strategies.
- Share findings with the sales team to improve collective strategy.
- Ensure schools are aware of submission parameters and deadlines.
Technical Expertise & Reporting
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software and yearbook production techniques.
- Provide regular contact and opportunity updates via eTrax and ensure eCRM is updated.
- Populate agreements and provide status updates on sales pipeline.
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in scheduled sales, service, and technical training sessions.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- We’re looking for a results-oriented sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop, manage, and grow a defined territory in a competitive, relationship-driven market.
- The ideal candidate has proven success in sales and client relationship management, is motivated to build and retain a strong book of business and thrives working independently while collaborating with a broader team.
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills are essential to managing multiple clients, meeting deadlines, and driving growth.
- 2+ years of Sales and Service experience or educational background preferred
- Experience in education, yearbooks, photography, graphic design, or print media is a strong asset. French/English bilingualism an asset, along with familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- As part of the employment requirements based on the nature of this position, the successful candidate must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS)
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Fast paced remote office environment
- Ability to sit for extensive periods of time
- Work environment: Remote in Saskatchewan
- Flexible Hours
- Business Casual Dress Code
- Commission based compensation
- Travel for business purposes may be required from time-to-time
