About the role
As an Intake and Admin Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. You will ensure that patient admissions and discharges are handled efficiently while supporting day-to-day operational needs, including staff coordination, documentation, and payroll-related administration.
Shift Details:
- Location: Main Office ( In person position)
- Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Shift Timing: 9AM - 5PM
- Every other weekend required
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the intake and discharge process for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and empathetic admission process.
- Act as a contact for patients and their families, addressing inquiries and providing information on services and care plans.
- Coordinate with clinical staff and assist operations to schedule and fill shifts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for analytics and payroll.
- Address concerns or escalate issues as appropriate to clinical or leadership teams.
- Travel between the Kitchener Transitional Care Unit and main office as needed to fulfill the role's responsibilities.
- Commit to working every other weekend and rotational shifts to ensure seamless coverage and support for our patients.
Requirement

- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel between Kitchener TCU and Main office.
- Must work every other weekend and rotational shifts.
- Valid drivers' license and clean driving record
