You’ll apply your skills to deliver results that matter whether that’s through engineering, planning or customer support. You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future. What you’ll do - Machine Installation: Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools. This includes installing and repairing mechanical components such as piping, guards, couplings, sheaves, and belt drives for rotating equipment. - Field Service Work: Perform installation and commissioning of rotating assemblies in the field, including bearing assemblies, grout, and alignment. Support clients by resolving mechanical issues in both shop and field environments, including pneumatic and hydraulic pressure testing. Expect to spend about 25-30% of your time on mine sites, including 1-2 week shutdowns 3-4 times a year and shorter 2-3 day rebuild trips. - Equipment Inspection: Inspect and examine equipment upon arrival for irregularities and malfunctions. Collaborate with engineering, management, and other trades colleagues to determine appropriate repair actions. - Preventative Maintenance: Participate in the preventative maintenance program on all equipment to drive continuous improvement and reliability. - Team Collaboration: Work effectively with a diverse team, maintaining a positive attitude and calm demeanor even in high-pressure situations. Success means being comfortable with equipment, working well with different personalities, and contributing to a collaborative environment. - Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture. What you’ll bring Must-haves: - Licensed Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright (433A) with 5-10 years of post-apprenticeship experience in assembly, repair, and overhaul of pumps and mechanical rotating equipment. - Strong mining industry experience, preferably with pump or valve shop background. - Ability to mentor others and contribute positively to team culture. - Proven skills in mechanical installation, field service, and equipment inspection. Nice-to-haves:

  • Leadership skills and experience guiding junior team members. - French language proficiency. - Experience with HPGR crushers, cyclones, gearboxes, bearing assemblies, and seals. - Previous exposure to large shutdowns and rebuild projects.
