The position duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Operate stamping Presses as required - including any auxiliary equipment
- Initiate press start-up and make adjustments as required after a set-up
- Changeover & Set-up of stamping dies and presses
- Adjust process parameters as dictated from the Die Set-up sheet
- Complete required Production documentation: including Downtime, Production, Quality, 5-S, and TPM
- Part Inspection per Inspection Instruction
- Final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving press area for quality
- Follow Containment Checklist procedures in the event of contaminated product
- Production tagging/labeling to maintain inventory accuracies
- Verify Production schedule using the ShopEdge system
- Die Set-up sheets - report updated information to Leaders as needed
- Change coiled material when needed
- Write & follow-up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in assigned area
Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
- Experience in safely operating production equipment
- Current Press department experience
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet production goals in a fast-paced production environment
- Demonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environment
- Able to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis
- Exposure to noisy environment
