Note: The application deadline for this position is October 17, 2025. What You’ll Do Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned to but they may include:
Mechanical:
- Manage Risk Assessment process, including scribing and authenticating processes
- Complete P&ID reviews, MOC Management and other daily technical support.
- Learn and apply basic codes and standards in mechanical/material engineering and develop associated documents and procedures
- Complete Engineering Investigations
Chemical/ Process:
- Applying engineering theory and problem-solving skills to resolve safety/environmental/integrity concerns, optimize performance, and scope/identify opportunities to reduce cost and add business value.
Electrical:
- Supporting the electrical design and engineering of upstream oil and gas facilities
- Supporting instrumentation scopes: establishing networks, IP addresses, hardware set up and data analysis
- Triage and define MOC Scopes and support development of smart processes for large volume engineering investigations and MOCs.
Who You Are Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).
- Available to begin work in May 2026.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.
We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
Education
- Must be enrolled in a Engineering Undergraduate Program (Mechanical, Chemical/Process, Petroleum, Civil, Materials, Electrical) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
- Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
