The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to step into a permanent role to continue developing and implementing disaster recovery and crisis management processes. We are working to expand the program by working with internal and external teams across the province, and facilitating the development of strategies, plans, roadmaps and business cases in collaboration with eHealth and its partners. This role would involve working closely with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, define best practices, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and technology driven environment. Proven experience and skills in Program Management, problem solving, and leadership is also required.
What You’ll Do Reporting to the Director of Service Design, you will:
- Provide strategic planning and coordination of long-term department vision, including managing all aspects of the planning cycle, including feasibility evaluations, analysis, and planning of collection of relevant information pertaining to the IT Service Continuity Practice
- Enhance organization-wide understanding of our disaster recovery and crisis program.
- Research and assess initiatives to provide decision support for our IT Service Continuity Practice.
- Plan and develop a consistent annual schedule and management controls for disaster recovery and crisis management information.
- Create and package documentation, presentations, information, and decision items for various audiences.
- Coordinate project, priorities, and deliverables across the IT Service Continuity Practice.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of metrics and KPI’s for department.
- Prepare, control, and evaluate annual staffing and operating budgets, complete budget forecasts and variance reporting for the services/programs they oversee.
- Monitor processes, identify gaps, and document and implement process improvements.
- Navigate and build strong relationships in a large, complex multi-enterprise environment.

Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Program management experience would be considered an asset.
- Post secondary degree in business, computer science or engineering, other related equivalent, or related professional designation and certifications from an accredited institution, or years of employment experience equivalent to the above.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of tools within M365 including SharePoint online.
- Familiarity with healthcare and digital health technology trends and best practices.
- Experience developing and implementing IT standards, policies, and procedures in a complex organization.
- Strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, and business case financials.
