We are currently seeking a Full-TimeGeneral Labour Worker (Packaging)to join our team based out of ourRichmond, BClocation.
**Position:**Full-Time, Permanent
**Schedule:**Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Overtime may be required.
Wage:$18.85/hour (paid on a weekly basis!)
Types of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Packaging and labeling products,
- Lift crates and cases of vegetables,
- Able to lift up to 55lbs,
- Dump vegetables onto conveyor belt,
- Perform work in cooler environment,
- Perform heavy lifting as needed,
- Adhere to WorkSafe and food safe guidelines,
- Follow GMP practices,
- Communicate quality issues,
- Work in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-Reliable means of transportation to start work on time -Legal right to work full-time in the given jurisdiction -Good English speaking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
- Accountable and dependable
- Open to work in a changing work environment and able to multi-task
- Flexibility in working schedule (Weekend and Holidays as required)
- Experience in food manufacturing procedures is an asset
