Purpose
Reporting to the Red Chris Mine General Manager, the Lodge & Warehousing Manager will oversee the planning, management, and coordination of non-process infrastructure site services; including town and camp services, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and high service standards to support operational goals and workforce well-being.
Essential Duties
In this role the incumbent will:
- Clearly demonstrate and execute leadership that prioritizes employee wellbeing and reinforces our safety-first mindset.
- Identify and develop plans for continuous improvement and optimization. Actively seek to ensure opportunities for meaningful improvement are implemented, and best practices put in place.
- Be part of the Red Chris Mine leadership team, actively contributing to the visible felt leadership culture onsite, and site delivery; with focus and responsibility for the mining portfolio, production, safety, and teams.
- Lead and guide cross-functional teams—including employees and contractors—across all non-process infrastructure site services (i.e. transport, port and logistics facilities, camp management, warehousing) to drive operational efficiency and optimal service delivery.
- Fostering a strong culture of health and safety, mentoring in technical and leadership areas, and building future capability through training, talent development, and behavioural role modelling.
- Manage the full budget and financial planning for non-process infrastructure site services —including camp, logistics, transportation, and port—while applying high operational standards across daily activities.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold service quality, monitor key performance indicators (such as, safety, community, environment, cost), analyse reports and trends, and implement corrective actions to ensure efficient and impactful service delivery.
- Identify and assess risks, opportunities, and challenges across all non-process infrastructure site services areas; develop and implement management systems to address them, ensure completion of associated actions, maintain compliance with industry regulations and safety standards for transport and camp facilities, and effectively manage resources—including personnel, funding, and equipment—aligned to strategic plans.
- Apply innovative technologies and proven methodologies to enhance non-process infrastructure site service delivery and functionality, driving improvements in transport services, facility maintenance, and camp sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to align, transport, facilities, port and logistics, and camp services, with operational goals—ensuring safety, health, and employee wellbeing through initiatives such as healthy food programmes and equitable housing.
- Manage vendors to create consistent quality and availability of all non-process infrastructure facilities, infrastructure, services, and amenities.
- Establish health, safety, and environmental standards across non-process infrastructure facilities to maintain compliance.
Training & Experience
The preferred candidate for this role will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Maintenance, Utilities, logistics or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in non-process infrastructure services (i.e. Logistics, lodging, accommodation, transport, warehousing) with a proven history of career progression through roles with increasing responsibilities.
- Strong service mindset focused on safety and wellbeing.
- Relevant certifications are preferred.
- Advanced experience leading and developing top performing teams.
- Advanced ability to interact, influence and resolve conflicts with various stakeholders, including employees, contractors, regulators, and community members.
Strong candidates will demonstrate:
- Comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies, tools, and innovations driving excellence in Site Services.
- Advanced capability to oversee daily logistics and service delivery
- Subject matter expertise of health, safety, environment and sustainability regulations and practices.
- Extensive knowledge in the application of best practices in non-process infrastructure and site services, gained through experience across diverse operational sites.
- Advanced knowledge of Facilities Management
- Critical understanding of cost management and financial principles specifically in Mining.
- Strong Planning skills

The expected salary range for this role is CA$171,400 - $244,800/yr with additional 30% short term and 35% long term incentive targets. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
