Job Description

Summary:

CEDA is currently looking for one LOCAL sandblaster with their NACE level 1. The Sandblaster role will be blasting and coating out of our Bonnyville Location & within the local area. As well as blasting and painting in a shop environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sandblasting material and doing the proper testing and documentation
  • Painting/coating material to the required spec
  • Testing the atmosphere and paint/coating thicknesses and filling out the documentation
  • Holiday testing when required and filling out the proper documentation
  • Working safely and maintaining a clean working environment
  • Complete jobs in a timely manor
  • Driving to site and from various sites in a company vehicle

Role Specifications

  • 3+ years of directly related work experience operating various types of equipment

  • Knowledgeable in conventional and airless spray applications

  • Able to trouble shoot issues in field

  • Local to the Bonnyville, Cold Lake, St. Paul area

  • NACE Level 1 would be an asset

  • Required H2S, Confined Space, CSTS, Fall Pro & AWP Training

  • Select appropriate coating and mix as per manufacturers specs

  • Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license

  • Coordinate with onsite client representatives

  • Able to follow CEDA HSE Practices, OH&S Regulations & Safety Programs

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis,

  • Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
