Role Description The Vice President, Filter Products and Manufacturing is a full-time, on-site role based in Leduc, AB. This role gives full ownership of the Filter products business unit from sourcing raw material through the manufacturing and logistics process right through to go-to-market sales strategy and oversight. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: overseeing the strategy, development, and performance of the filter product portfolio, as well as managing manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading product strategy, guiding product development initiatives, and directing product management activities across the lifecycle, from concept to commercialization. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, sales, and finance to align product and manufacturing plans with business goals, while monitoring key performance metrics and driving continuous improvement. The Vice President also mentors leaders and staff, manages budgets and resources, and ensures compliance with regulatory and environmental standards relevant to filtration and manufacturing. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Product Strategy and Product Management skills, with experience overseeing product portfolios and roadmaps. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, and support data-driven decision-making. Candidates should possess Product Development experience, including guiding new product initiatives from concept through testing and launch. Candidates should possess Cross-functional Team Leadership capabilities, effectively coordinating across engineering, operations, sales, and other functions. Extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in filtration, separation, textile, industrial consumable or related industrial products. Demonstrated track record in operational excellence, process optimization, and quality management within a plant or production environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field required; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an asset. Must have a minimum of 15+ years of progressive management experience in industrial consumables manufacturing. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices in industrial manufacturing. Must possess deep, macro understanding of industry in Western Canada. Ability to work on-site daily in Leduc, AB and to travel as needed for business purposes.
