What You Will Accomplish With Us As an Accounting Analyst, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Perform various accounting tasks related to month-end closing (reconciliations and adjustment entries for distribution network compensation);
  • Carry out periodic controls specific to the sector;
  • Conduct various analyses as needed;
  • Support the Accounting Advisor in projects and ad hoc tasks;
  • Provide support for strategic projects initiated by corporate teams and the Vice Presidency;
  • Actively participate in improving work methods (automation and optimization);
  • Develop and implement control procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial data;
  • Respond to information requests from internal partners (compensation, corporate accounting, financial operations, actuarial, etc.).

What Will Accelerate Your Success In This Role We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA designation;
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting;
  • Is recognized for excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Stands out for organizational skills and ability to manage priorities, even under pressure;
  • Demonstrates strong rigor and autonomy;
  • Adapts easily in a constantly evolving environment;
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of Excel and a strong interest in artificial intelligence;
  • Has an intermediate level of English, as the role requires regular oral and written communication with English-speaking collaborators and teams across Canada.
