Responsibilities
- Assist the Regional Managing Partner (RMP) with annual budgeting and planning for the firm
- Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of firm's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals; oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting
- Develop, maintain and monitor accounting systems and procedures; capture all billings and receipts for the recording of revenue transactions, conduct G/L and variance report analysis
- Ensure various reports including Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices, expense reports and payroll reports are completed
- Oversee the tracking T1’s, T2’s, T3’s, T4’s, T5’s, AIDA and NISA
- Review the admin team's vacation and overtime stats; meet with them to off-set overtime hours and/or make necessary adjustments
- Prepare, review and modify general templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials
- Assist RMP with setting up regular partner meetings, annual town hall meetings and retreat & event planning
- Ensure office resources and supplies are available and in good working order
- Responsible for building maintenance and cleanliness, and maintaining office safety and security
- Train team members on MNP systems and methodologies
- Supervise and assess workload of administrative team members ensuring all regional administrative procedures are carried out in an efficient and effective manner
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration is considered an asset
- Management and supervision experience is considered an asset
- Experience in a professional services environment
- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
- Experience working with CaseWare is considered an asset
