Could you be the full-time Logistics Engineer in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your logistics and packaging expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in optimizing our logistics processes and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Operations), implement standard packaging solutions, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of designing, prototyping, and validating packaging solutions, but also improving internal logistics processes to enhance material flow reliability.
We’ll look to you for:
- Implementing and managing standard packaging solutions, including purchasing, design, prototyping, validation, and monitoring budgets.
- Developing packaging solutions that protect parts throughout logistics operations such as transport, unloading, storage, and line feeding.
- Leading cost-saving initiatives by calculating ROI, redesigning packaging, and reducing transport costs.
- Designing and optimizing internal logistics processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensuring correct ERP system parameter settings and supporting master data accuracy improvement.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to align logistics solutions with business priorities.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement in material flow, storage methods, and packaging designs.
- Maintaining compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in logistics operations.
- Contributing to a culture of teamwork, adaptability, and continuous learning within the logistics function.

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of ERP systems, particularly SAP (Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules).
- Knowledge of CAD software for logistics layout design or packaging development.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing end-to-end logistics flows and processes.
- An understanding of activity-based costing (ABC) and stock strategy concepts.
- Knowledge of QCDE principles (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Environment).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Resilience and adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $80,000 – $105,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
