About the role
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an IT Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for supporting end users and solving technical problems on multiple devices, both in person and remotely. Salary will start at $38,000-$42,000 plus an annual bonus based on personal and company performance of up to 5%.
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for providing timely and friendly technical support, via help desk support tickets (Zendesk), telephone, email, chat, remote support and in person and documenting those requests and solutions while following established processes.
- Configure and install computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Administer user accounts in multiple systems (Office 365 & industry-specific systems)
- Develop and maintain proper documentation relative to best practices, guidelines for standard procedures, and end-user knowledge base.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional customer service skills as you will work with a range of personalities with differing levels of technical ability. You will also possess the following:
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Strong written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to develop and sustain positive customer relationships
- Strong attention to detail along with effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- The ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
- Proficient with Windows operating systems
- 1- 2 years working in a similar IT support role is beneficial
- Must exhibit a professional, positive, can-do attitude
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on occasion
- Ability to perform occasional physical work including lift heavy objects
- Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and written.
- Completion of a satisfactory criminal background check
