About the role
Description
Our Client is seeking a Senior Database Analyst to build, maintain and performance tune production databases to deliver databases with appropriate levels of data availability and performance. This role is also responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database procedures and standards. Projects include: Reviewing and consolidating SQL Server licensing costs or reducing licensing costs in the long term; Implementing Database monitoring for the vast majority of a database environment; and Creating new reporting and\or reporting options to highlight and elevate critical database issues to management.
Work must be done from within Canada during regular business hours, due to network and data security issues. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply. Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings up to 3-4 times per month.
