Ebrar Flooring continues to grow and is open to new partnerships on upcoming projects. Role Description The Flooring Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB. The role involves installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, vinyl, tile, and carpet, in both residential and commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include site preparation, accurate measurement and layout, cutting and fitting materials, and completing stairs, baseboards, and trim to a high standard. The installer is expected to maintain clean, organized work areas, follow safety procedures, and collaborate effectively with site supervisors, general contractors, and other trades. The role also includes inspecting completed work, addressing minor issues on-site, and supporting project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Strong skills in LVP-related work, including LVP Flooring and LVP installation and finishing. Experience with general Flooring installation across residential and commercial projects. Ability to install and work with Carpet materials, including cutting, stretching, and seaming. Proficiency with Ceramic flooring and tile installation, including leveling, grouting, and finishing. Knowledge of subfloor preparation, moisture management, and use of installation tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret plans, measurements, and work orders with attention to detail. Commitment to safety practices, punctuality, and maintaining a clean job site. Previous experience as a flooring installer or related trade; apprenticeship or trade certification is an asset. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Reliable transportation to Calgary-area job sites and eligibility to work in Canada.
