Salary:$98,000 - $ 115,300 (Commensurate with Experience)
This salary range reflects the expected starting salary based on qualifications and experience. This is not the full salary range for the position. Opportunities for growth within the full salary range are available in alignment with organizational policies and individual / organizational performance. The offer package provided to the successful candidate will be based on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Health Care Improvement Advisor is a key member of the International Operations team and is responsible for delivering high quality client services within the international accreditation program. This role contributes to the organization’s mission by supporting health care organizations as they work to enhance the quality and safety of care. You will be providing education on the accreditation process, developing accreditation and onsite survey plans, and delivering post survey support and coaching. Through this work, the Healthcare Improvement Advisor plays an essential role in advancing client readiness and driving continuous quality improvement across diverse health systems.
You have substantive experience within a health services environment, ideally including clinical exposure or direct involvement in quality improvement initiatives. The Healthcare Improvement Advisor demonstrates strong communication, instructional, and analytical skills, and is adept at guiding clients through complex requirements and challenges. A commitment to client service, continuous improvement, and the advancement of safe, high quality health care on a global scale is essential for this role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients through education coaching and training. You’ll build meaningful relationships with new clients and strengthen existing ones, as you support them in their accreditation journey based on your lived experience.
- You’ll leverage your deep understanding of our standards and diverse healthcare settings to design and deliver training sessions, provide one‑on‑one coaching, and orient clients to the program—whether in person, with large groups or virtually.
- In collaboration with the clients, design and customize accreditation plans, including identifying needs, survey preparation, building the survey schedule and providing ongoing support.
- You’ll collaborate with your team of fellow advisors to review and evaluate the services you provide and identify new and exciting ways to bring value.
- You’ll work with a great team of coordinators, ensuring you’re up to date on client contracts and deliverables.
- You’ll partner with surveyors, ensuring they understand the context of the organizations they are assessing and answering their questions.
- You’ll work with our market development team supporting them to build solutions and programs that are tailored to meet clients’ needs.
- Always keeping the patient in mind, you will provide a rigorous review of survey reports and offer client feedback to strengthen the future of their healthcare services.
- You will travel internationally to support clients on-site and will be supporting these clients in different time zones.
Must Have Qualifications:
- University or master’s degree in a healthcare‑related discipline (e.g., health sciences, nursing, medicine, public health, health administration).
- 5+ years of progressive and varied experience in healthcare.
- Tried and tested assessment, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent reporting skills and experience in effectively communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Bilingualism in English and Spanish (Native or Professional proficiency is mandatory).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills as you will interact regularly with our international team and with our valued client organizations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Fluent in French and Italian.
- Are familiar with our Qmentum program and accreditation process.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%, on a needed basis.
- Have a passion for health quality and standards interpretation.
