We invite applications for the temporary position of
- Teachers Teaching On-Call (TTOC)
- Please note that since the nature of on-call work is unpredictable, we are unable to predict the frequency/quantity of work that may be available.
We are especially interested in Teachers Teaching On-Call with the following specialty areas:
- Indigenous Education (K-12)
- French Immersion (K-12)
- Home Economics (8-12)
- Languages (8-12 for French, Spanish, German, Japanese, ELL etc.)
- Mathematics (8-12)
- Montessori (K-7)
- Science (8-12)
- Special Education (K-12 - Psychologist, Counsellor, Speech Language Pathologist, Learning Assistance, Gifted, etc.)
Our educational team is committed to engaging learners to develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication and social competencies. Our educators use and develop best practices through meaningful and purposeful collaboration and inquiry. As lifelong learners themselves, our educators embrace diversity, apply assessment for learning approaches, and integrate technology in meaningful ways to personalize learning. Successful candidates will demonstrate a willingness to embrace and share the district’s commitments outlined above and model its principles in their practice.
