We are seeking a dynamic individual to become the Director of Human Resources (HR) at Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) to develop and provide strategic HR leadership for NTI. Working with the NTI senior management, you will lead the development of the overall corporate HR strategy incorporating the trends in HR best practices with a particular focus on Inuit training and employment.
The incumbent will have a bachelor’s degree HR management or; completion of business administration or; a professional development program in personnel management (Public/Human Resources Administration). The incumbent should have at least three (3) years of senior management. Combination of education and experience could be considered.
Preference will be given to Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.
Starting salary is $172,000.00 per annum (commensurate with experience) a comprehensive benefit package including employee pension plan, group insurance and vacation travel assistance.
NTI provides a variety of housing supports to employees including down payment assistance and housing allowance of $35,865.00

Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) ensures that promises made under the Nunavut Agreement are carried out. Inuit exchanged Aboriginal title to all their traditional land in the Nunavut Settlement Area for the rights and benefits set out in the Nunavut Agreement. The management of land, water and wildlife is very important to Inuit. NTI coordinates and manages Inuit responsibilities set out in the Nunavut Agreement and ensures that the federal and territorial governments fulfill their obligations.
