Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vista, CA. This role oversees daily accounting operations, including managing general ledger activity, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings. The Accounting Manager is responsible for financial statement preparation, monitoring fixed asset accounting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The position includes analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and providing insights to management, as well as maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, supervise accounting staff as needed, and support audits and continuous process improvements. Qualifications Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to interpret results and support decision-making. Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger management, including month-end and year-end closing processes. Experience managing Fixed Assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset reconciliation. Demonstrated Analytical Skills for variance analysis, cost review, and identifying process improvement opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an asset. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably with international operations. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills. Ability to work on-site in Vista, CA, with strong organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
