Logistics Coordinator, Rail
Logistics Coordinator, Rail**,Metrotown,**British Columbia
**Location:**This role is onsite and requires consistent presence at the office five days per week at the Metrotown Head Office 1600-4720 Kingsway Metrotower II Burnaby, BC V5H 4N2.

What You’ll Do
-Own the rail logistics process end‑to‑end: from ordering railcars and billing loads to tracking shipments and resolving freight issues -Coordinate shipment volumes and inventoryacross reload locations to ensure on‑time delivery to customers -Partner closely with Rail Logistics leadershipto secure the right transportation capacity and support future order fulfilment -Collaborate cross‑functionallywith sales, production planners, and mill teams to optimize shipments and deliver a great customer experience
What You Offer
- Minimum 3 years in transportation or logistics within a manufacturing environment, with hands‑on experience using TMS and ERP systems
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort participating in MS Teams meetings with the camera on, contributing actively and professionally
- Highly organized, able to multitask, manage interruptions, and solve problems creatively while meeting multiple demands
- Self‑motivated, customer‑focused team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment
